Our highly skilled team of bench hand joiners have a wealth of knowledge in working with a large array of materials such as woods, veneers, laminates, glass, metals and solid surfaces such as corian.

Meet the team…
Andrew joined Maple Ark in 2013. With a degree in engineering design, he has over 20 years experience in fast track bespoke shopfitting. He has been responsible for the techinical design and project management for numerous high profile projects and new concept developments.
Duncan is a first-class bench hand joiner, and with over 25 years of experience in both the luxury cosmetics, and multiple run manufacturing, he has a vast wealth of knowledge of both traditional and modern production processes, value engineering and implementation.
Jacky studied furniture design at Leeds, and has over 30 years experience in retail design, project management and manufacture. This includes over 10 years in designing concession sites for Yves Saint Laurent, and almost 20 years’ in store design and concept development for Debenhams fragrance and beauty.
She formed Maple Ark in 2011, and with the support of great clients and an amazing team, the company has gone from strength to strength. In March 2020 Jacky handed over the reins of the business to Andrew and Duncan, who have been an integral part of the success of the business from the beginning.
Head of Security & Wellbeing
Winnie joined the business as a puppy in August 2019, as Head of Security. More importantly she is also Head of Wellbeing, and ensures that even when we are all super busy, we still take a little time out to have some much needed fuss.
